Yesterday morning, 60 representatives from Royal Djurgården’s attractions gathered for breakfast at Liljevalchs. The room was filled with energy, curiosity and a shared sense of responsibility. At the heart of the conversation was Djurgården – together with Connecting Jobs Sweden (part of Beredskapslyftet) – and a clear ambition: to create opportunities, strengthen inclusion and make a real difference, collectively.
Our shared goal is clear. A Djurgården – and a society – where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, develop and thrive. With guidance from Ranya Said, we explored how we can open doors for newly arrived Swedes while at the same time strengthening the skills and talents needed across our organisations.
The challenge is real. Meaningful connections do not happen by themselves. Matching people with opportunities requires collaboration, creativity and persistence. Yesterday was a reminder that when we come together with a common purpose, these challenges can be addressed.

What is at stake is more than jobs or skills supply. It is about a fair and inclusive society where talent is recognised, people are given the chance to grow, and no one is left behind. Together, we are more than attractions – we are a job engine, turning conversations into action and ideas into opportunity.
A sincere thank you to Ranya Said and Caroline Linzenbold for sharing valuable insights, and to everyone who contributed to the discussion. And thank you to Liljevalchs and Blå Porten for hosting the breakfast.
