Yesterday, 70 representatives from many of our 60 attractions at Royal Djurgården gathered in a venue that echoed with history—the very same place where the Beatles played as the opening act (!) to Lill Babs in 1963. An inspiring backdrop for a meeting of minds!
Our dedicated sustainability group played a pivotal role in preparing for the event, and the challenge of the day was how we communicate sustainability with our visitors based on our shared hospitality. Passionate about culture, nature, and entertainment in a resilient society, our aim is to be a positive force. Connecting with an incredible 15 million visitors annually, this is not just an opportunity; it’s an obligation to evolve into a wise, long-term attraction. I love working together.
Scientifically proven, we become wiser together—I am convinced we left the meeting a little bit smarter than when we arrived. And the result from the workshop proved that true. Thank you – each and every one of you, for putting in the time and effort. Together we make a difference.
A special thank you to Jens Johansson, U&We for presenting statistics from our last audit – and to Annika Brantingson, Tekniska museet & Jan Naumburg, SMTM for loving measurements. Thank you Caroline Strand, Visit Stockholm and Magnus Andersson, KDF for putting Royal Djurgarden in a great context, to Gabriella Granditsky Svenson for welcoming us to the magnificent Theatre at Gröna Lunds Tivoli AB. And finally to Karin Sallander for making the day possible.
